On June 13th CNN aired their FutureSummit on the topic of virtual worlds, its societal impact, trends and developments within the sector etc. Panel discussions touched upon themes such as virtual reality, communications, movies, connectivity, creative talent and virtual future.

Among the panel members in Singapore and Palo Alto were Funcom’s Trond Aas, Flickr’s Stewart Butterfield, Digital Chocolate’s Trip Hawkins, Animal Logic’s Zareh Nalbandian, Lancet Film’s Ellen Poon, Linden Labs Philip Rosedale, Wikipedia’s Jimmy Wales, Yonsei University’s Leo Sang-Min Whang, WangYou Media’s Buddy Ye, The Daedalus Project’s Nick Yee.
