The multi-stakeholder process was set up in an interactive and creative fashion. Citizens of all walks of life were invited to participate in the various workshops of the initiative, with a special focus on youngsters, entrepreneurs, scientists etc. Policymakers & politicians joined in to feel the vibe and be inspired. All were involved in distilling a vision and exploring strategies for the village centres of Midden-Delfland. Workshops, interviews, and debates were organized to get people involved and build capacity for the vision. Simultaneous to the participatory visioning process, the organization of the city council went through a learning trajectory aimed at the implementation of some of the ideas gathered and methods learned in their own organization.

Aside from the final report on the future vision for 'vital villages' in Midden-Delfland, Pantopicon also decided to publish a selection of original ideas that bubbled to the surface during its many interventions, in a small booklet.
