Plan C is the callsign for the Flemish Transition Network on Sustainable Materials Management. What started out as a small, experimental gettogether of some 15 people has in the meantime grown into an active network of hundreds of innovation-minded participants.

During its first year, guided by Pantopicon, Resource Analysis and the Center for Organizational and Personnel Psychology of the Catholic University of Leuven, Plan C members drafted a future vision on sustainable materials management in Flanders along with a set of 5 pathways of radical innovation along which the transition towards the realization of this future could take place. After more than a year of hard work behind the scenes, Plan C kicked off its expansion in an interactive, one-day event set in the inspiring environment of an old church in the center of Mechelen on October 15th 2008, an event shaped and facilitated by Pantopicon (relive the launch, in Dutch).
