In a series of six interactive learning ateliers, Pantopicon introduces a select group of forward-looking members of Domus Medica - the Scientific Association of Flemish General Practitioners - to the methods and techniques involved in futures exploration and visioning.
Each learning atelier features a heads-in lecture explaining a select topic within the general theme (e.g. horizon scanning, scenario development, strategizing etc.) in an insightful way, grounded in theory and illustrated by means of examples. Furthermore, participants go through one or more short hands-on exercises crafted to give a first experience of what the methods and techniques embody, for which purpose they are best suited, where difficulties might be encountered, etc. Focus in the learning ateliers lies on methodology. Content in cases has been selected to be meaningful to participants and enhance tangibility of the topics, yet are but illustrative.
